The Cooper Cougars are ready to move on after falling to Abilene High for the 6th straight year. Head coach Mike Spradlin and the Cougars fell to the Eagles in the 49th Crosstown Showdown, 49 to 37.
Coach Spradlin says his team played a good game, but the Eagles exposed some weaknesses that they need to sure up.
Now it's time for Cooper to look forward to Garland as they continue their non-district schedule this week.
The Cougars take on Garland Friday night at Shotwell Stadium. Garland topped Cooper last year, 28 to 14.
