The Cooper Cougars spread offense requires that the offensive linemen be big, strong, and mobile.

Offensive lineman David Damian fits that description to a tea.

The senior started last year, but this year is he lost 50 pounds lighter and in better shape.

He still tips the scales near 300 pounds, and he is still strong. Now he is more mobile. Damian and his coach love the changes he's made.

Damian and his teammates have their hands full Friday night against Garland.

The Owls are ranked 19th in Class 5A and Cooper is 14th in Class 4A.

That game will start at 7:30 at Shotwell Stadium.
