The Abilene High Eagles are set to start District 3-5A play on Friday against Burleson.

They have spent the last 7 weeks in 2-a-days and non-district play getting ready for this time of the season.

Everything changes this time of year because we are playing for something, now.  District titles and playoff berths are on the line, and the Eagles are ready to get it started.

The Eagles rolled to 5 straight wins in District 3-5A, last year, and they hoping to do that again this year.

The unbeaten Eagles and unbeaten Elks play in Burleson at 7:30.
