D.C. Morrison is hoping to get the Democratic nod for the 4th District congressional seat.

Morrison is an Arkansas businessman who grew up on a farm

He's worked for some big companies throughout his career.

And, he's no stranger to the political arena.

Morrison ran for the U.S. Senate in 2010, challenging former Senator Blanche Lincoln.

We asked why he believes voters should check his name on the ballot.

"My career with several major corporations, I was a guy who was able to help fix things, fix problems and find new ways to do things," Morrison responds.

Other Democrats in the race are Q. Byrum Hurst and Gene Jeffress.
