KFX: The Big Games Of Week 6

 District 3-5A

The 15th ranked Abilene High Eagles play the 2nd game of the District 3-5A schedule at Shotwell Stadium. The Eagles opened district play with a 37 to 3 victory over previously undefeated Burleson last week.
This week they host Fort Worth Paschal for their homecoming game. The Eagles enter the game with 14 scoring plays of 35 yards or better, and you can expect that to grow against the Panthers this week.

Class 3A

Number 19 Brownwood are coming off their bye week with a game against Manor. The Lions rolled past Liberty Hill for their 3rd win of the year before the off week. This week the Lions make the trip south for their final non-district game against Manor. Manor is winless this season, and Brownwood is hoping to end non-district with a victory.

District 8-2A

District 8-2A play continues on Friday in Comanche, Early, and San Saba.

Comanche is undefeated and started district last week with a victory over Coleman. The Indians are averaging 43 points a game on offense. They host Dublin.

The undefeated Brady Bulldogs start their run in District 8-2A on Friday. The Bulldogs will be in Early to face the winless Longhorns.

Bangs hits the road for the 1st time in district play. They opened district with a victory over Early last week. This week they will be in San Saba to take on the Armadillos.

Class A

The 2nd ranked Goldthwaite Eagles play their final non-district game of the season in Mart on Friday. The Eagles defense has given up just 2 touchdowns in 5 games so far this season, and head coach Gary Proffitt's team is winning games by an average score of 31 to 3.
