She is a former beauty queen (Miss Arkansas 1994) turned businesswoman and political candidate.
Rankin has also worked as a Policy Advisor to former Governor Mike Huckabee.
She's raised nearly 400-thousand-dollars for her campaign to be the GOP's candidate.
We asked her what she thinks about how campaigns are financed and what she thinks should change.
"I'm for full disclosure, I am for freedom, people can give whatever they want but report it and get rid of the FEC," Rankin says.
This is Rankin's second time to enter the race.
In her first campaign in 2010, Rankin won the Republican Primary, carrying 27 of the 29 counties in the 4th District.
