Former Red Raider Michael Crabtree finally decided to sign with the San Fransisco 49ers after refusing ever since he was drafted as the team's first-round pick. The wide receiver's contract is a six-year deal. If he has two good years out of the first four, he'll be released after the fifth season, according to Fox Sports.
Crabtree, 22, was the only draft pick yet to sign with a team. The original offer that he refused to sign was $20 million for five years. But he wanted more.
Details of the contract have not been released.
Crabtree is eligible to play this season, but did not attend Niners training camp, and therefore will likely not have an effective season.
