The Stamford Bulldogs struggled for several years, but a 2-week playoff run last year and a state ranking this year have the Bulldogs barking.

The Bulldogs lost their 1st game of the season, but since then, they have grown by leaps and bounds.

The Bulldogs made the switch to the spread offense last season, and the team gives that move a lot of the credit for the recent success.

Hayden Nauert is the trigger man at quarterback for Stamford.

He works hard on the field and studies the offense off the field, and that has help Stamford win 4 of their 5 games this year.

Nauert has led the Bulldogs to almost 200 points, and he says they can still get better.

Head coach Wayne Hutchinson and his Bulldogs start district play at home against Haskell on Friday night.
