The Wylie Bulldogs started District 2-3A play with a good road victory over the Brownwood Lions. Wylie jumped out to a 31 to 7 lead by halftime, and then ended the night with a 20-point victory over then 18th ranked Lions.
Head coach Hugh Sandifer's team forced 3 turnovers and rushed for almost 260 yards, and most importantly, they won their 1st district game of the season.
The Bulldogs continue District 2-3A play in Snyder on Friday night.
The Tigers lost a tough one on Friday in their opener against Graham.
That game will kickoff at 7:30.
