The Brownwood Lions lost their District 4-4A opener to the 3rd ranked Wylie Bulldogs last Friday. The Lions fell behind early and weren't able to get back into the game.
The Lions lost another starting quarterback in the loss to Wylie. Mitch Stevens, who started the season as the backup, went down with torn knee ligaments.
The job goes to Vance McShan and you can expect receiver Jaxson Shipley to take some snaps.
Brownwood tries to bounce back on Friday against Breckenridge at Buckaroo Stadium. That game will get started at 7:30.
