Jimmie Keeling's HSU Cowboys have struggled this season, but they seem to be getting things turned around.

They snapped their 4-game losing streak against East Texas Baptist, and they made it 2 in a row on Saturday against Howard Payne.

The Cowboys are playing better, and quarterback Taylor Byrd says the underclassmen are working for the older guys.

It's time for HSU to hit the road to Alpine where they will face Sul Ross St.

The Cowboys can even their record at 4-4 on Saturday with a victory.
