The Brownwood Lions are riding high after a 1-point victory over Graham.

Friday night proved to be a pound for pound slugfest between the Steers and the Lions which now allows Brownwood to have control of their own destiny.

Big plays come from big players, so it's no wonder Junior safety and running back Derek Longoria was in on the extra point block that iced the game for the Lions.

This week the Lions travel to the Mustang Bowl to take on Sweetwater, but the despite the 'Stangs growing pains this season, it's another district test for the Lions.

Brownwood and Sweetwater meet on Friday at 7:30pm.
