The good times continue to roll for the Brownwood Lions now 3-1 in district play after last week's shutout in Sweetwater.

"It was just a matter of our kids going out and starting off strong." Said Lions Head Coach Bob Shipley.

"That was the key for us while going out playing consistent for four quarters."

For the second straight week the Lions have racked up at-least 400 yards of total offense led by the Lions Wide Receiver turned Quarterback Vance McShan.

"He's a great athlete and a great leader." Exclaimed Brownwood Running Back Stehl Ratliff who carried the ball 19 times for 102 yards and 1TD against Sweetwater.

"He was on the receiving core but now he's a quarterback and now he's leading us great."

Entering the final week of the regular season Brownwood will be playing for their playoff lives against a rough and tough Snyder team.

"We're just ready for it. We're ready for their defense." Ratliff said. "Theirs no question the playoffs will start for us on Friday night. It's like a home playoff game for us. That's the way we've handled it as a staff and with the kids." Exclaimed Head Coach Bob Shipley.

Points and scenarios play a huge part this time of year, but it's very simple for the Lions. Win and their in or loose and stay home.
