The regular season is over, and it's time for the Wylie Bulldogs to get serious. The Bulldogs are 1 of 19 area 11-man football teams that are post-season bound.
Wylie sewed up a share of the 2-3A title with their 47-7 victory over Sweetwater on Friday night.
Back-up quarterback Collin Harris got the start for injured Matt Preston and played well.
Harris rushed for 50 yards and 1 touchdown. He was 3 of 4 in the passing game, and he managed an offense that rushed for almost 250 yards on the night...
The Bulldogs 16th straight playoff appearance starts on Saturday. Wylie travels over to Midland to take on Lubbock Estacado. Wylie beat the Matadors last year in the bi-district round of the playoffs 21-10.
