Wise Wins ASC Award

 Hardin-Simmons junior cornerback Jonathan Wise was named Co-Defensive Player of the week in the American Southwest Conference. Wise had two interceptions and a forced fumble to spearhead a unit that allowed just 187 yards on 50 passing attempts in a 21-10 road win over cross-town rival McMurry. Wise also made seven tackles and registered a pass break-up. His play helped the Cowboys close out the regular season with five straight victories.
