The Cooper Cougars are in the 2nd round of the Class 4A playoffs for the 2nd year in a row. The Cougars ran left and to the right and up the middle and rolled over Dumas for the Bi-District title.
Davon Riddick, Alford Cooper, and Kendrick Powdrill combined for 335 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns. As a team, the Cougars rushed for 399 yards.
Cooper tries to keep the roll going in the 2nd round against El Paso Del Valle. Cooper beat the Conquistadors 56 to 10 last year for the Area championship. They kick at 6:30 on Saturday.
