The Cooper Cougars are still playing, but not before they scared the faithful to death. The Cougars fell behind El Paso Del Valle 24-0 in the 2nd quarter.
No problem. The Cougars answered by scoring 51 of the next 61 points in the game.
Cooper gained over 440 yards including 279 through the air by quarterback Ryan Heslep.
With the win, the Cougars are in the regional semi-finals.
Cooper is at home this week to play Denton Ryan in the next round. Guyer beat the Cougars last year, 28 to 7.
This year, they play at Shotwell Stadium at 2 on Saturday.
