Bulldogs Advance To State Final

 After trailing for the better part of the game the Wylie Bulldogs finally pulled ahead when it counted late in the 4th quarter to capture the 31-27 win over Lucas Lovejoy and advance to the State Championship Game.

The late touchdown came from the arm of Matt Preston to Joe Nasser for the 8 yard go ahead score.

Saturday's State Semi-Final win sets up the Bulldogs 2nd State Championship appearance in four years.

The Bulldogs are set to face Gilmer for the 2009 Class 3A Division I State Championship. The game is set for 6pm, Saturday, December 12th, at Southern Methodist University's Ford Stadium in Dallas.
