The Albany Lions are back in the State Championship game for the 1st time since 1991 when they lost to Schulenburg. The Lions are the only undefeated team still playing in the Class A playoffs, and they are rolling. Albany beat their opponents in the playoffs by the average score of 38-6.
It's been a long time since appearances in the title game, and the players are happy for themselves and for the fans that have followed them all season.
The Lions try to keep it rolling in the Championship game. They play Cayuga on Saturday in Mansfield at 3 p.m.
