A group of enthusiastic bikers accomplished some dramatic goals recently during a 24-hours bike ride through Palo Duro Canyon State Park to raise money to help fight cancer.

This was the third year for the event where bikers take financial pledges, then ride as far as they can during the 24-hour event.

Some of the participants are cancer survivors, while others have friends or relatives suffering from the disease.  Many bikers rode continually for the entire 24-hour period, while others were only able to ride for a portion of the time.

In an amazing feat of stamina, Paul Schnatz rode 300 miles during this year's event.
