Deborah
Ann Whitt Henley, 45, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 in a local
medical center. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at
First Baptist Church of Moran, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home,
542 Hickory.
Born and raised in Shackelford County on December 21, 1961 Deborah was the daughter of W. C. Whitt and Barbara (Jones) Whitt. She was a CNA (Certified Nurse?s Assistant), a member of First Baptist Church and the Women's Auxiliary, both in Moran.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Don Henley, two sisters, Jeanne Whitt and Sherry McCommas, and brother, Richard Whitt.
Survivors include her daughter and husband, Darcy and Duwayne Oakley of Moran; three brothers and their wives, all of Moran, John Whitt, Don and Windy Whitt, and Mike and Joyce Whitt; two sisters and their husbands, Terri and Harry Vickers of Albany, and Melissa and Tony Leonard of Eastland; one granddaughter, Sydney Ann Oakley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Diabetes research, National Kidney Foundation, or your charity of your choice.
