Coaches Chosen For Greathouse FCA All-Star Classic

Coaching staffs for the 2010 Greathouse Big Country FCA All-Star Classic football and basketball games have been selected.

          Heading up the 11th annual football game with be head coaches Joseph Gillespie of Stephenville for the North and Bob Shipley of Brownwood for the South.

          Rodney Gee of Eastland (North) and Tri Danley of Abilene Wylie (South) will be the head coaches for the 2nd annual women’s basketball classic.

          Both games are set for June 12 with all proceeds benefitting the Big Country chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The football game will be held at Shotwell Stadium and the basketball game is set for Abilene Christian University’s Moody Coliseum.

          Joining Gillespie on the North football coaching staff are Brian Hulett of Eastland, Stacey Martin of Coahoma, Phillip Ritchey of Big Spring and Gunter Rodriguez of Olney. For the South, assistant football coaches will be Brad Bowden of San Angelo Grape Creek, Brent Davis of San Angelo Central, Sterlin Gilbert of San Angelo Lake View, and Chuck Lipsey of Bangs.

          Assistant basketball coaches are Brittany Densman-Roes of Baird for the North and Jeremy Williams of Wall for the South.

          Players and cheerleaders for the 2010 all-stars game will be announced in February. All participants will be honored at the All-Star Classic Sharing the Victory Banquet on April 25 at the Abilene Civic Center.
