Kansas City Falls to 1-2 in Preseason

KANSAS CITY, Mo -- The Kansas City Chiefs hosted Seattle in their third exhibition game of the season.

And it was back and forth in the second.
Russell Wilson floats it to the far sideline to Kellen Winslow for a 21 yard touchdown.
Seahawks go up 16-0.

Moments later... Chiefs get it back.
Matt Cassel is rushed out of the pocket he finds space and Dexter McCluster in the middle of the end zone.

Nine yard strike makes it 16-7 Hawks.
But Wilson isn't done.

This time finds Charly Martin for the 11 yard touchdown.
Seattle goes up 23-7 and take this one 44-14.

Kansas City falls to 1-2 in the preseason

Dwayne Bowe's anticipated debut Friday night was overlooked as Seattle used a trio of field goals to jump out to an early 9-0 advantage before extending the lead 44-14 at Arrowhead Stadium.

Seattle got on the board first with a 36-yard field goal from K Steven Hauschka with 7:29 left on the clock in the first quarter.

After a quick appearance and a three-and-out from the Chiefs offense the defense returned to the field. Quarterback Russell Wilson passed deep right to  WR Braylon Edwards for 32 yards. After a two yard gain followed by an incomplete pass Wilson was sacked at the Chiefs 21 yard line. But Hauschka kicked a 39-yard field goal to make it 6-0 with 1:55 left in the first.

Bowe entered the game during the third offensive series of the first quarter. Matt Cassel's first attempt to Bowe was incomplete and P Dustin Colquitt booted the ball shortly after.

DT Anthony Toribio injured his ankle in the first quarter. There was no word on his condition immediately after the game.
