August 28, 2012 - If you haven't yet obtained a photo ID required to vote in the general election, and you're saying, "Well I don't have my birth certificate..." don't let that stop you.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health is offering birth certificates for free, if it's for the reason of obtaining an ID to vote.
In addition, if you have already paid the $10 fee to get your birth certificate for this reason, you will be reimbursed.
A reminder that a new law requires you to provide a valid form of identification in order to cast your vote on November 6th.
For more information on how you can get your free birth certificate, click here.
