Mike Powers, 43, of Sweetwater, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010,
after a long and courageous battle with cancer. There will be a
graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Sweetwater Cemetery, under the
direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street. The family will
receive friends at 1603 Roberts Street after the service.
Mike was born April 6, 1966 to Robert and Phillis Mayhugh Powers in Sweetwater, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two sisters: Sharla McCuistion and husband Ronnie of Abilene, and Jamie Macon and husband Tommy of Sweetwater; one brother, Troy Schroedter of Abilene; numerous nieces and one nephew.
The family is very grateful for all the tender care and compassion shown by ALL that came into Mike's life. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. We love you brother.
