Elizabeth Virginia Vinson

Elizabeth Virginia Vinson, 96, of Abilene, passed away Saturday, April
17, 2010 at a local nursing home. A graveside service is scheduled for
2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rockwood Cemetery under the direction of North's
Funeral Home.
Elizabeth was born October 2, 1913 in Rockwood, Texas to Edward and Elizabeth Vinson. She was raised in Rockwood and was one of eleven children. She lived and worked in California until retirement. She lived in Greenwood, Mississippi for ten years before moving to Abilene in the mid eighties. Elizabeth loved music and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.
She is survived by one sister, Thelma Joeris of Abilene, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews.
