Graveside services Kody Don Saunders will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at the Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood, Texas, with Bo Shero officiating. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Heartland Funeral Home.
He was born Feb. 10, 1970, in Brownwood, Texas.
Kody passed away Sunday Oct. 7, 2007, at the Brownwood Regional Medical Center at the age of 37. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his mother Gale Saunders of Brownwood; one daughter Allyson Saunders of Tennessee; and three sisters, Kim Delgado of Brownwood, Kari Fraser of Brownwood and Sasha Saunders of Brownwood. Kody is also survived by his grandmother, Lila White and her husband Floyd; his two aunts, Brenda and Gary Chamberlain of Brown-wood, and Debbie and Tim Gause of Grand Prairie. Kody is survived by his special friend, Betty Jarvis of Brownwood. Kody is survived by a step-son, Ron Teague and his business partner, Austin Choate. He is survived by a niece, Erica Lewis; a nephew, Boomer Colmery; and a number of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Donnie Joe Saunders; grandfather, Jess Gowin; and a grandmother, Florence Saunders.
Kody was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
