Lt. Col. (Ret.) Robert E. Davis, 85, passed away on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007.
He was born on Feb. 23, 1922 in Chicago, Ill. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lois Davis of Atlanta, Ga.; and four daughters, Carol Hetzler of Atlanta, Donna Davis and Mary Lou Dahlquist, both of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kim Cason of Sweetwater.
Lt. Col. Davis was interred at Georgia National Cemetery near Canton, Ga.
H.M. Patterson & Son, Funeral Directors of Atlanta, Ga. was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association are requested.
