A three-man Salvation Army team is back home in Abilene this weekend. The group headed down to south Texas earlier this week to help in the hurricane Dolly rescue efforts. The Salvation Army set up in McAllen, Texas to serve meals to those in need and other rescue workers. The group came back to Abilene after their canteen vehicle received some damage from the storms. Everyone on the team says they are glad they had the chance to serve. Once the canteen is fixed, the Salvation Army says they will remain on call to serve again, where needed.
