4-H Horse Show Ends

Many 4-H competitors spent the evening packing up and heading home as the 46th Annual 4-H horse show came to an end Saturday. The final performances started up at 8a.m. Saturday out at the Expo Center. All this week over two thousand contestants made their way to Abilene for the show. From the drill team competition to other horse and roping events, the annual show is not only entertaining, but it acts as a big money maker for the city of Abilene. According to the Expo Center, the eight-day event generates $1.4 million dollars to the Abilene community.
