David Gill:
"I think that we should have the millionaires and billionaires in this country start paying their fair share. When I travel this district, 14 counties wide, all of the people that I encounter say it's about time for the millionaires and billionaires in America to start paying their fair share. I don't think that we should raise taxes on anybody else in this country, but I think that millionaires and billionaires are long overdue to begin paying their fair share again. It's time to have corporations pay their fair share as well."
Rodney Davis:
"Absolutely. I think all the current tax rates should be extended permanently. We hear a lot of politicians talk about creating jobs, well I'm one of those politicians that doesn't believe that government creates private sector jobs. And what need right now to turn our economy around is to give business owners certainty and once they have that certainty of what their tax bill is going to look like at the end of this year, then I think they're going to be able to invest in people and create jobs. Also, what most Americans don't realize is if we don't, if republicans and democrats don't do something to extend the current tax rates, every single American household will experience the largest income tax increase in American history come December 31st of this year."
