The always-tough Clyde Bulldogs traveled east to kick off their season against Eastland. It turned out to be worth the trip.

Clyde jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but the Eastland defense showed some promising signs with a few big stops.

Eastland was able to answer back with a touchdown in the early going cutting the Clyde lead to 14-7.

Eastland wouldn't be able to rally much more momentum than that. Clyde takes Eastland 34-14.
