Becker/McNamara on Victories

There was a lot of cheering at the Republican headquarters in downtown Evansville Tuesday night.
Around 3-hundred people gathered at the Casino Aztar Conference Center. Vanderburgh County Republican Party Chairman, Wayne Park, says they didn't win every race, but they won some important ones, from Indiana Governor, to Vanderburgh County Treasurer.
Eyewitness News talked with State Representative Wendy McNamara and State Senator Vaneta Becker, who both won re-election.
"Just want to say more than anything, I feel great, privileged and honored to serve the constituents down here and I'm very thankful that they put their faith in me again for another two years", said McNamara.
Becker told Eyewitness News, "I just appreciate all the support and the fact that people could see through the negative campaigning and we stayed positive the entire time so i just say thank you to my constituents."
Becker says they will maintain the majority in the Indiana Senate and the majority in the Indiana House of Representatives.
