Updated: November 7, 2012
Long-time Congresswoman Louise Slaughter is the projected winner of New York's 25th congressional district.

With only 20 districts left to report, the current numbers show Slaughter leading over County Executive Maggie Brooks 57 % to 43%. This was the first time in many years that Slaughter has been challenged for the seat. The newly-drawn 25th district covers the majority of Monroe County. This will be Slaughter's 14th term in Congress.
