Pat philips found a way to make her money last longer.

Philips has been croshaying for as long as she can remember. SHe never would have imagined her past time could actually make her extra spending money. Being on a fixed income she knows the value of a dollar.

The Rose Park Senior Center has the "Country Store" that allows Pat and other seniors to display and sell items they make.

Jewelry, clothes, blankets, towels, and anything else seniors want to make.

Lesli Andrews with Rose Park says it's not just about the money.

Pat agrees and says it's nice to see that her work can bring a smile to someone's face.

The Country Store is open Monday thru Friday from 9-5 at the Rose Park Senior Center at South 7th and Barrow.
