"A Christmas Story" is a popular movie around the holidays. The holiday classic was released in 1983 and starred Peter Billingsley, Melinda Dillon and Darren McGavin. It was first shown on network TV on HBO during the mid 1980's. Since it's first showing, it quickly grew a following and became a holiday tradition for countless families.

Around the KTAB newsroom we found a way to honor this movie and one of it's most famous lines, "You'll put your eye out!" in a unique way.

We were shown a popular site called "Jib-Jab", it allows you to create funny little cartoons with real people's faces on the animated characters.

From that site our very own Producer Tim Caldwell created this wonderful masterpiece. It was then re-tooled by the folks at Jib-Jab and presented to you on our 10 PM newscast!

We had lots of laughs watching and making it and we hope you too will get a kick out of the creation.

Enjoy!
