We've seen flyers throughout the big country for Hailey Dunn, and now a local advertising company is hoping to send an even bigger reminder of the search for the missing 13-year-old.

With this case not able to qualify for an Amber Alert in the state of Texas, a local advertising company decided to get creative.

"Based on the situation and them not being able to issue an amber alert, I thought this is something that we could probably put together," Tim Ritter, General Manager of Lamar advertising posted the first "Missing Hailey Dunn" billboard in Abilene this week but has already expanded the digital messages state-wide.

"With Lamar Outdoor, Clear Channel Outdoor, and Digital Impact Outdoor as a partnership and we got together right now, and have 80 billboards running in the state," adds Ritter.

Many Abilene residents say these efforts speak highly of the community that we live in,"I think probably that will be one of the more effective ways there is. The one behind me is on one of the major streets here in south Abilene."

Ritter says the company Lamar prides itself on rallying with communities during times of need to get the word out but also says this specific billboard project has special meaning for him,"Because I do have a 13-year-old daughter, so it really kinda hits closes to home."

The billboard companies state-wide are fitting the bill for the signs.

Another 8 printed billboards will be up next week along Interstate 20 from Abilene to Midland.
