Authorities Need Your Help Finding 13-year-old Hailey Dunn.
“She's my daughter. She's a 13-year-old baby and I want her back.”
Those were the words of Hailey Dunn's mother, Billie Dunn, Sunday afternoon. It's now 13 days into the investigation and still no sign of Hailey.
“I want her home more than I've ever wanted anything in my life,” said Dunn.
City manager, Pete Kampfer, said they are confident they can bring Hailey home but after following several leads need your help finding two teenage girls who may be holding the missing piece to this puzzle. "Witnesses saw two girls walking with her on Manuel Street proximity,” he said. Kampfer said the girls were seen together just before Hailey went missing. They are not in trouble, they just want to talk them. "If there's anybody who has any information or witnessed that or may know who the girls are or if the girls know who they are if they can come forward," said Kampfer.
DPS Senior Trooper Sparky Dean said one of the challenges investigators are facing now is the story some are telling isn't the same one they told before.
“The family has not been forthcoming . Their discernment of the truth continues to change. Very frustrating," Dean said.
Authorities are still hopeful they will find Hailey alive.
“I'm confident we are gonna find Hailey alive. Hailey does not want to be found. I think she's in hiding," added Dean.
Nobody is holding out hope more than Hailey's mom. “Run home to me. I need her. I can fix anything for her," said Dunn.
Colorado City officials are offering a $25,000 reward for tips that lead to Hailey.
