Law enforcement continues to follow up on leads from the public and those who know Hailey. Authorities keep saying "incosistencies" in the statements from key players are hampering their efforts.
Meanwhile, Billie Dunn, Hailey Dunn's mother, says she's been a credible witness and is doing everything she can to bring her daughter home. Dunn says she's a loving mother whose primary goal is bringing Hailey back safely. On Tuesday, Dunn told KTAB News she's not eliminating and possibilities into the disappearance of her daughter: even if it leads to her boyfriend Shawn Adkins.
Adkins remains in a home in Dunn, Texas, about 12 miles north of Colorado City. He hasn't spoken publicly since reportedly failing a polygraph test last week. When KTAB's Priscilla Luong knocked on the door Tuesday, a man answered and told her Adkins would not be speaking at the request of his attorney.
Despite all the finger pointing and theories circulating, investigators haven't named any suspects.
While law enforcement sorts out the truth while trying to track down Hailey, her mother tells KTAB News she's clinging to memories of better times. When KTAB's Priscilla Luong caught up with Billie Dunn Tuesday, she was thumbing through one of Hailey's old scrapbooks.
"That's hard also; I'm only sending one kid (to school)," said Dunn. "And I'm only really expecting one kid home."
The Dunns had previously expressed frustration about not receiving enough updates from law enforcement concerning their investigation. Colorado City's City Manager Pete Kampfer said they're doing everything they can.
"As much information as we can give to the Dunns, we are," said Kampfer.
Hailey's mother says until they get the information they've long been waiting for that Hailey's safe and sound, they're leaning on the well wishes of others.
"I know a lot of people are praying," said Dunn. "That's what we need to most."
Law enforcement is expected to hold a media briefing today at 4 p.m. to update their investigation.
Officials now say the information that leads to Hailey's safe return is $15,000. They previously estimated much higher at $25,000.
