Folks in Colorado City are doing just about everything in their power to bring Hailey Dunn home. Some pass out posters, some search, and some try to get out Hailey's story on the internet.

Pastor Paul Smith, of Calvary Baptist Church in Colorado City, posted a video on YouTube that's already been viewed by more than 100 people. It's just another example of people doing anything they can to make sure Hailey is on everyone's mind. (you can click on the embedded video to view Pastor Smith's message)

"As a local pastor here in Colorado City, we've been praying for her return. But, I wanted to do more," says Smith in the video. "That's why I made this video."

Hailey attended nearby Christian Temple and occassionally took part in youth group. Hailey's pastor told bigcountryhomepage.com last week that God would play a key role in bringing this tragic situation to an end.

"The only thing that's going to bring strength is prayer," Pastor Bobby Matlock said. "This whole community needs to rely on God to bring a closure to this deal."

Hailey's youth leader, Scott Free, has been encouraging her friends to make cards for the parents of the missing 13-year-old.

"I said, whatever comes to their mind, speak out of their heart," Free said.

Throughout Facebook, people continue to post bible verses and prayerful messages of hope. Among those items posted:

  • "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." Luke 19:10
  • "I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you." Genesis 28:15
  • Praying Hailey is returned home alive and safe
