"Billie is in Denial" Says Nancy Grace Guest

Wednesday night on HLN's "Nancy Grace," one of the guests labeled Hailey Dunn's mother, Billie, as being in denial about who Shawn Adkins, her boyfriend and only named suspect, might be.
Now, it's expected that Adkins cannot and likely will not be arrested until some hard evidence, like a body, turns up.
"A body is pertinent to a successful prosecution," says Colorado City City Manager Pete Kampfer.
Kampfer compares the last three weeks of the search to a roller coaster ride.
"Some days we have good leads, and we want to be able to follow up on things," said Kampfer, going on to say that with no signs of Hailey it's, "something of pessimism."
So for now, the search for answers keeps going.
In the 9-1-1 calls, it appears Adkins had a history of threats. Something Dunn recognizes, but dismissed as a down point in their relationship.
"We had a rocky relationship but the last year things have been really good. The last six months, things have been awesome," Dunn told Grace.
"It seems she hasn't wrapped herself around the truth, at this point in time, because she is in denial," said one of Grace's guest analysts.
