Slideshow: Cops Collect Socks in Hailey Dunn Search

By: Austin
Updated: January 29, 2011
Socks and hair were discovered during a search in Big Spring Friday morning.

Pete Kampfer, who has been acting as spokesman for the investigation, confirmed Friday that the items were found and collected by the Big Spring Police Department.

The items were discovered by Hailey's Angels during a search of fields near Big Spring.

It's important to note there's no reason to connect these findings directly to the Hailey Dunn case. The socks will be tested.

Hailey's Angels, a volunteer search group, has vowed to search every day until 13-year-old Hailey Dunn is found. She vanished from her home in Colorado City on the afternoon of Monday, December 27, 2010.

I think they need to get Adtkins and Billie into separate rooms and interagate them until SOMEBODY talks...this isnt a normal missing person case. Somebody knows where and who did this to little Hailey and justice needs to be served to whoever caused this baby to go missing!!! I pray everyday Hailey is found and will someday tell everyone what happened but have a feeling it will not happen that way. I appreciate all the volunteers that are searching for Hailey and my husband and I have helped as well. It breaks my heart! We love you Hailey!
