The center hosts Game Day from 9:00am until 2:00pm. "We play rumi cube, mexican train and 42," said senior citizen Ron Vaughn. He said sometimes the games get pretty competitive. "We have some pretty close games on 42 and rumi cube. We have a lot of fun."
Vaughn said the games aren't just for fun but also stimulate the brain. "It'll work your mind and that's what we need is a lot of mental work so we can stay young.
He said the senior center is also about friends,"We just come up here to have fun and you know have companionship together and enjoy being with eachother so we can get out of the house," Vaughn said.
The senior center also has many different activities for seniors to enjoy.
