The father of missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn is back out searching for his daughter Saturday. Clint Dunn spent the last half of the week behind bars in Scurry County. He bonded out early Friday.

Dunn turned himself in Wednesday on a warrant for violating his probation with the original charge of marijuana possession, driving with an expired license, and a unsafe backing.

The marijuana arrest happened in January 2010 and Dunn was sentenced to six months probation.

Dunn told bigcountryhomepage.com he had hoped to use the time to collect his thoughts and concentrate on what needed to happen next.

"I was going to try to make the best of it and get some time to think. I couldn't really even do that," said Dunn. "I wasn't alone like I thought I would be."

Dunn's release comes in time for him to be able to participate in what's being called a "massive search" this weekend, led by two national search organizations.

There will also be a volunteer appreciation dinner and a candlelight vigil on Saturday night.

Hailey Dunn was last seen on Dec. 27.
