Energy efficient appliances have come a long way in the last few years. Technology continues to improve and costs have reduced slightly which means that they are becoming very appealing to many who wish to be kinder to the environment.
Almost any appliance is available with the Energy Star seal of approval and they range from washers/dryers to light bulbs. Some of the many advantages of going energy efficient are the reduced use of water and, in the case of washing machines, less detergent means saving money but also, being kind to our water systems.
