Sunday Vigil Planned in Honor of Hailey Dunn

Sunday marks three months since 13-year-old Hailey Dunn vanished from her home in the small town of Colorado City.

The community will gather at 8 p.m. Sunday at Colorado City's Ruddick Park to pray for the girl's safe return.

Hailey's father, Clint Dunn, says he'll be there from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is encouraging a strong turnout.

Though investigators have arrested some key players involved in the case for largely unrelated crimes, law enforcement has seemingly not gotten any closer to locating the missing girl.

Hailey's mother and her boyfriend have been named persons of interest in the case. Authorities have gone as far as to label Shawn Adkins, Billie Dunn's boyfriend, a suspect. However, Adkins' attorney says his client has done nothing wrong and police are too focused on Adkins rather than finding Hailey.

Searchers are expected to head back out Saturday and look for any clues in Hailey's disappearance.

Juststeppedin, you are right about their only interest has been getting free money. When Billie was arrested, we can see her hair has been highlighted, she painted the rooms in her house and sold the van that as GIVEN to her. So, she has money to spend on things that don't really matter. Think she is bringing food and drinks to the searchers? Is she making flyers? We all know the answers to those questions.

To Juststeppedin...I agree...they've shown the world they don't care or they know exactly where Hailey is and don't have to look...or both.

This is a terrible story...however I laugh every time you refer to him as "awesome." Sometimes you need to find spots of humor where you can or you would be crying.

Talk about an abomination! The BF from H-E-L-L right? OMG...He is disgusting! I can't even look at his revolting face anymore without feeling sick to my stomach.

Yeah...Billie thinks he so "awesome" that she brought him into her home knowing the offensive and repugnant things he was into and has protected him all the way.
That's how desperate she is.

How can they say LE has arrested some key players in the case on unrelated cases? Nobody but Billie has been arrested, unless they consider Billie's mom a key player. I bet my son's 2 new hens that BD nor SA will be in attendance. Why would they? They haven't been interested in anything Hailey yet, except the donations.
