By: Austin Kellerman
Updated: April 5, 2011
The group behind t-shirts being sold to raise awareness about missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn sent out a statement detailing where proceeds for shirt sales are being spent.

Kristy Lloyd says money made from merchandise sales goes directly into the Hailey's Search fund set up at the City National Bank in Colorado City.

In a statement, Lloyd says the fund is used to keep Hailey's face out in the public and keep search efforts active.

Lloyd says time and labor is voluntary. She notes no searches are compensated with money.

Lloyd reports the group receives donations and also sells t-shirts and bracelets with Hailey Dunn information that can be found on www.hopeforhailey.org. Lloyd says the group eventually hopes to sell hats.

Lloyd issued the statement amid rumors money from merchandise sales were going to family members that were spending the money at their leisure.

Board members of Hailey's Search consist of: Bill Markunas Glenda Turner Kristy Lloyd Hailey's Search group is headed by said board. All areas of search are conducted in a safe, legal manner. Our one goal is to find Hailey or any form of evidence that could lead to the location of Hailey Darlene Dunn.

There needs to be much more transparency in this group with regards to financial matters. Much has been said about just how Billie Dunn is able to stay off work for this long. I don't think Billie would be a major saver so how is she paying her bills? Is it coming in the back door from these monies?
