Many graduates came back to Hardin Simmons after 50 years.

Clyde Berkley was the 1961 Hardin Simmons class president. Now 50 years later he's back.

"It's great to be here. I had some of the best times here," said Berkley.

Much of the class of 1961 was present today to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

"Everybody looks different. It's good there's pictures so we can recognize each other," Berkley said.

Yearbooks, pictures and other memorabilia were on hand.  Berkley said one thing was missing though.

"All of the teachers we had are no longer here."

But he is especially proud of one thing.

"Two of my kids graduated from Hardin Simmons.

The group had a welcome reception, tour of the school and other festivities.
