 hspace=10 vspace=10 Over weekend, Officer Damien Hutchinson was dispatched to a check welfare call in the 3100 block of South Clack street. Officer Hutchinson contacted a 36 year old white male who was passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle while sitting at a red light. The suspect also had an open alcohol container in the vehicle. The suspect failed the standard field sobriety tests and was intoxicated. The suspect was arrested for DWI/Open Container.

Officer Santos Perez was dispatched to a vehicle burglary call in the 1300 block of North 17th street. The victim stated they left a 2008 Dodge truck unlocked and an unknown suspect had taken some of the victims personal checks out of the vehicle. A report was worked for Burglary of A Motor Vehicle.

The signal lights at the intersection of Texas and Corsicanna will be inoperative and stop signs have been put at this location. Please slow down and exercise caution in this area.
