Courtesy: State of Alaska(ST. PAUL, MN) -- New reports by the Associated Press reveal what happened on a trip to Dallas may have prompted Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to reveal that her 17-year-old daughter is pregnant.

Liberal bloggers launched rumors that Palin faked her latest pregnancy while in Texas in April. During that trip, Palin was eight month pregnant. The fact that she flew from Anchorage to Dallas made some question whether that was the right move for a woman so far along in her pregnancy. She visited Dallas to attend a governors’ conference on energy.

Palin reportedly began having contractions during the trip but still made the decision to return to Alaska before having her son Trig. Palin says her doctor gave her the green light to travel. Still, left-wing bloggers felt the move didn’t make sense and began accusing her of faking the pregnancy to cover up for a pregnant teenage daughter.

Soon after, Palin announced her 17-year-old daughter Bristol is 5 months pregnant and plans to marry the child’s father.
